Wolf River Electric

As shown on EnergySage, all three I looked at have great potential. All answered my questions either on the phone or in their quote and I really could not have gone wrong with any of them. Overall, the best value for me from looking at the net costs was Wolf River. They are using essentially the same equipment as the most expensive one albeit with one less battery for a lot less money. If in the future, we find a need for that second battery we will reach out for an add to our system. The summaries provided by EnergySage really helped focus my search and clarified the differences between the companies. EnergySage's prescreening of companies was great! Noted that the three I looked at were all BBB A+ and accredited BBB members. After the installation is complete, I'll see if EnergySage allows me to provide additional feedback. Value and Quality are based in part on EnergySage's data. Service and Responsiveness are based on efforts to complete the quote process and not only to answer all my questions and the professionalism and patience exhibited for my innumerable questions.

Luke at wolf river is amazing to work with. He is responsive and attempts to resolve issues. Solar panels are offseting a huge amount of electricity use and this is with 2 EVs.

Wolf River was generally great. The original quote and design had to be refreshed because I had not taken action at the time of the first quote. Where other companies altered their quotes to increase revenue, Wolf River's quote was consistent with the previous bid, with a better panel. The project manager left midway through, but his replacement was excellent - going so far as to bring a bobcat to our house to move panels that got dropped on our neighbor's verge. The install crew fit another panel on the south-facing exposure as compared to the design, a win in my book. The installers had a bit of trouble with the SunPower app, getting the panels to attach to the system controller, but I think that was a SunPower issue, not a Wolf River issue. The project manager followed up to make sure we were happy with the system and how it was generating. We are.

Had an issue a year after the solar installation, tried contacting wolf river multiple ... multiple times, never received a response. Contacted all energy solar, received a response within 24 hrs.

We were extremely excited to get solar on our house and are very happy with what it has produced so far. I can't wait until next winter when it will help out with our electric heating.

What I was looking for was LG panels with enphase micro inverters. After getting all the quotes with the selected hardware in mind, I went with Wolf River. The big name companies respond fast in hopes you go with them and pay top dollar. I also picked Wolf River because the installers are all in-house not subcontractors. Now I can find the bad in anything so here’s what I didn’t like. My project manager was so slow getting back to me, sometimes it took 3 working days or not at all. I ended up calling the main office for any questions and they were great. Would I pick Wolf River again? Yes, but I would make sure I had a different project manager. In the end I paid .50 cents less per watt compared to all the others, and most of them tried to push the cheap hardware.
