Although we ended up choosing a different supplier, I was impressed with the proposal from Smart Roof Capital. Kevin made a site visit and provided a lot of information that was helpful. He did this even after we told him that we were leaning towards using a different installer, but he came out anyway and checked the physical structure of our house and updated his proposal. Our only reason for choosing the other provider (prices and installation plans were similar) was that a friend had a very strong word-of-mouth recommendation for the other provider, which tipped the balance. Among the things I appreciated: clear and straightforward information, no hard sell or sales pressure, lots of knowledge and experience. Overall, a very positive interaction, even though it didn't result in a sale!

Kevin and his team were great with the set up and got everything running as smoothly as quickly as possible. His communication was always open so it was easy to confirm dates and things with him. Only drawback was the original quoted panels were not available to we were able to adjust the quote to keep the install date. The delays were from the permits office and Kevin chased them to get it corrected.

I met personally with seven different solar installers, did exhaustive research online and on Energysage, spoke to every friend and even strangers about their solar experience, and I am confident we chose the best installer with the best equipment for the money. Smartroof answered every question (and I had a TON), was very transparent about rebates and other incentives, and while we have heard that many people have had to wait several months for their project to be finished, ours was installed, went online, and was producing power within 2 months! I can't say enough good things about these installers. We love our system. It is perfectly sized for our needs, and after 3 months, we have not had a single hiccup or problem with our equipment or installation. We are very happy and would recommend Smartroof to anyone who asks without hesitation.

Kevin was great to work with. He clearly explained the project and was very responsive through out the entire process, from bidding to operation. The installation crew were very professional. Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend Kevin and SmartRoof Capital.

Kevin was great through the whole process - explained everything clearly, responded to any questions promptly, and kept the project progressing. We live in a two unit building and were able to get panels installed for both units at the same time and everything turned out perfectly. Highly recommend SmartRoof Capital!
