Barrett Solar

I went through Barrett Solar to have solar panels put on my home. Barrett Solar gave me a quote through EnergySage along with several other installers. Barrett's was the best value and their salesperson Josh was great to work with. I was happy with the technical details of the system and felt like they were very straightforward in the sales process about the costs and what was and wasn't a good match for my needs. They send automated emails to let you know where they're at in the process, which is nice. They estimated 60 days from contract to installation, which they did meet. Barrett subcontracted the installation to another local company called 816 Solar Pro. They did great work and even despite some weather setbacks were able to get the system installed within a week. On to the bad - Between the time it was installed and I was allowed to turn it on, a squirrel got under the panels and started nesting. I raised this concern early on but didn't get much help. I wish Barrett would consider selling the add-ons that keep critters out. I had to go through another company to get one installed. Once I turned the system on, it was clear that the squirrel did damage some of the wiring and I was having issues with the system. Getting in touch with Barrett for service to fix the wiring damage was a challenge. Voicemails and emails went unanswered for several weeks. Eventually I did get a response from the owner and it was sorted out. Their staff should be more responsive - even just a simple response of "thanks for the call/email, give us a bit to figure it out" would have saved a lot of frustration.

Barrett Solor From the initial telephone call that I made to Barrett Solor company well let’s just start I made a call they return my car and informed me of all the options that I have now only that they beat the price of another company and he doesn’t like to save money GPS to home so they could look from the sky view of your house to figure out where the best place to put the solar panels Came to the house did a inspection The roof filed the papers with the city filed papers for permits the electric company everything was done by Barrett very professional company everyone that I ever talk to on the phone very polite and professional then it came down to installing their product they sent a crew of installers to My Home hottest day of the year these gentlemen got on my roof it took a couple days it had to be a little tough being so hot but they installed all the panels all the electrical wiring to the panels all the way to the meter all the way to your box very professional very polite young men one fantastic job I could not say anymore for this company other than I gave them a 10 rating and I will pass their name on to all my friends and relatives that are interested in the Solor so my opinion being a person to spend time in the building field and around this situation for a long time I would definitely contact Barrett Solor in Kansas City for your solar Needs If anyone would like to contact me by email joebukatyjr@gmail.com
