Ultimately, I ended up with a local installer who lived within minutes of us. However, Sean from EMT Solar was extremely professional and helpful in understanding all my equipment and financing options. EMT uses high quality, tier 1 products like REC panels and Enphase inverters. Sean was very understanding when I decided to go with someone else. I recommend looking at EMT for your solar needs!

EMT should not be licensed to operate. My nightmare began May 2023 and continues to this day. The roof has lifting shingles, soft spots, arching, and curling edges. They snapped the sheathing, the flashing was not properly applied, they left and/or made unnecessary holes and openings in the exterior of my home. EMT has caused problems with my electricity, my basement floods, I currently have 3 interior leaks, mold and mildew everywhere, ice and snow in my attic. They left my gutters hanging off and trash and debris around and in my home. For nearly 3 years I’ve submitted correspondence via email and text, numerous photos and videos in addition to repeated requested for the removal of the solar panels. EMT has sent representatives to my home to inspect, evaluate and photograph the damages. However, anyone who has been here or that I’ve dealt with either “no longer works there or didn’t document my file.” With that, I am totally fed up, disgusted and fearful of a total roof collapse, especially with this ice and heavy snow. I give them 5⭐️’s for complete and utter disgust, ignorance, bad faith, poor workmanship, improper installation and failure to take accountability.

All aspects of our solar installation project were great, as were all of the EMT personnel (professional, efficient, courteous). As a result, it was completed well in advance of the 12/31 /25 federal credit expiration deadline. Kudos to Brian G (sales), Michael P (site survey), the installation team, and Paige H (inspection follow-up). They are all highly recommended!!!

It’s terrible, no good at all

EMT violated both Tesla's and Enphase's requirements during install resulting in a system the trips off line and does not function properly. Hid the details. Offered to disable part of the system as a fix. Once I understood the implications, they told me I would have to pay for the fix.

Joe has been with me every step of the way. No question was considered absurd.
