Kilo Hollow Energy

I had an excellent experience with Killow Hollow Energy. Killow Hollow offered a competitive price to design and construct a 26.1 kW solar array in my field. From the beginning, they were very easy to work with -- responsive, prompt, transparent. They worked with me to design a system large enough to power my entire house and to situate the array on our property for maximum power generation. Soon before construction began, they fine-tuned the array based on my feedback and a thoughtful re-think of constructing an array on a hill. Kilo Hollow handled all of the permitting and, once the permits were issue, they constructed the array within days. They also helped me to sign up for SRECs. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone contemplating installation of a solar system.

We had installed a 12.4 KW solar array installed last year. We went with Kilo Hollow because they educated us every step of the way. Their approach was refreshing and patient, no rush sales here, just solid advice that made sense for the home. They tailored the system to fit perfectly on our roof. My wife and I were hoping to install a solar panel system to help with our utility bills. We contacted five vendors. Two never got back to us, one told us our installation was too difficult (since it would go on an existing metal roof) and the fourth told us no problem and kept pushing for us to sign contracts without fully explaining what their system entailed. The only contractor that gave us a professional presentation, computer modeled the project, and then took the time to fully explain everything and answer all of our questions was William from Kilo Hollow Energy. Their proposed installation utilized the latest equipment and was top notch. "Will" also pointed out in order to optimize our system and make it cost effective; we would need to remove some of the trees encroaching on the building. This would ensure maximum efficiency of the panels and allow a reasonable return of the investment. He also said without doing this he could not recommend we proceed. After some consideration, we decided against cutting the trees and so halted the project. I really appreciated the honesty, Will was not only interested in the sale but also in satisfied customers. The biggest takeaway, if we ever do decide to move forward with solar panels in the future, we will be using Kilo Hollow.

We are late getting this review in, but wanted to make our voice heard. We had been wanting to add solar to our house for a few years. With the announcement of the new government incentives, we jumped into it last year. We received many quotes and had appointments with several companies (some of them never showed up).
