Meet the Team Founder – Richard Duncan Richard is a state-certified building and roofing contractor with over 30 years of experience in Florida's construction industry. His deep expertise spans residential and commercial projects, and in recent years, he's led the company's shift toward energy-efficient remodeling—bringing sustainability and smart design to every build. Co-Founder – Portia Wells Portia leads system operations on the accounting side, managing payroll, benefits, and financial administration for the company. With over 25 years of experience working with PEOs, she keeps the back office running so the field teams can focus on the work — from onboarding and benefits administration to the day-to-day financial operations that keep projects moving. Solar Sales – Duane Wright Duane is a state-certified home energy rater (Class 1, 2, and 3) and a ChargePoint CPF25 installation graduate. With more than 25 years in the Tampa Bay market, he specializes in retrofitting and building high-performance, sustainable homes. Duane blends technical mastery with a consultative approach, helping homeowners make smart, future-proof energy decisions. Fused Solar & Roofing is a Generac Clean Energy dealership known for precision installations, premium fit and finish, and a dedicated service department that keeps systems monitored and running. Our team is factory-trained by Tesla, Enphase, REC, Hyundai, SolarEdge, and Generac, ensuring every install meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. Workmanship Warranty
25-Year No-Leak Roof Penetration Warranty — included at no charge. We guarantee that every roof penetration we make during a solar, electrical, battery, or mounting installation stays leak-free for 25 years from substantial completion. If a leak originates from a penetration we created, we repair or re-seal it and remediate the resulting water damage at our expense. Coverage applies to the penetrations we make, not to the roof covering, decking, underlayment, or flashing installed by others.
10-Year Installation Workmanship Warranty — included. Covers our installation labor and components: conduit runs, wire management, racking, mounting rails, and flashings. We repair or replace anything that fails due to defective workmanship at our expense.
Equipment warranties. Solar panels, inverters, optimizers, batteries, gateways, and EV chargers carry their own manufacturer product, performance, and labor warranties. We provide all manufacturer warranty documentation at or before substantial completion, and we'll help you file a manufacturer claim on request.
Transfers with the home. Both warranties transfer one time at no charge to a buyer of the property, with written notice within 30 days of closing, the account paid in full, and the buyer's written acceptance of the terms. A transfer conveys the unexpired remainder of the original term.
Conditions. Written notice within 30 days of discovering a problem, reasonable access for us to inspect and repair, no alteration or reinstallation by unauthorized parties, and the account current on payments. Standard exclusions apply for storms, hail, wind, fire, flood, falling limbs, impact damage, vandalism, and normal wear. Full terms are in the installation agreement.
