Exact Solar

The Exact Solar company was rated as excellent on the Energy Sage web site. Their staff was very helpful going over the process with me as it proceeded. My installation was completed in less than two days. My site inspection took place a few days later; the paperwork and permits completed, the switching over to PECO and the changing over to a two way meter all took a several months, after which I was up and running. All done without any problems. Finally Exact Solar connected me with Enphase which enables me to check my production online in real time. I give Exact Solar 5 stars for every aspect of my solar experience

It is still early in the process as installation has not begun yet, but my experience so far during the sales process with Alan at Exact Solar has been excellent. He was very responsive and responded to my inquiries on weekends when needed. When I asked a question about a potential code issue, Alan took the time to check with his engineering group and provided specific information (including code cite) to allay my concerns. I also really appreciated the lack of pressure throughout the process. There were none of the typical sales gimmicks like offering a discount or rebate if I agreed to sign within a short period of time. They were the only company I interacted with that was willing to do an inspection without requiring any financial or contractual commitment on my part. They were also quite flexible when it came time to negotiate the contract. As I said, it is still early, but based on my experience so far I have no concerns with with Exact Solar's ability to deliver the same quality when comes to the permitting process and installation.

I worked with Exact Solar for quite a while before I was even ready to consider a start date. They were very patient with me and followed up in a way that wasn’t pushy or harassing. The install went off without a hitch and they’ve been great helping me along as a Solar generator.

System commissioned in early February 2024. Complicated system; Enphase with System Controller 3G and three 5P batteries, plus an aerial connection between the detached garage where most of the panels are and the house. Exact did an in-person site-survey before providing a firm quote; which is how things should be done! Their engineering people (Nick and Vlad) also stopped by again before the actual install to address some concerns and make sure the documentation for the installation crew was sufficiently detailed. The installation team was excellent, especially Josh the electrician. It took the better part of two weeks from start to finish, but that was partly due to the awful winter weather. Meter exchange and PTO came at the end of the month. System is producing beautifully.

Andrew was a great representative of Exact Solar. He presented a quality proposal and worked with my requests to modify and compare options. He was responsive to all of my questions. Ultimately, we chose a different contractor due to price/value but would have liked to do business with Exact Solar.

I had a solar system installed by Exact Solar, having gotten their quote through EnergySage. I found them to be very professional and easy to deal with through the process. During the proposal process, they were responsive but not pushy, and they didn't try to upsell (I discussed getting a battery backup system with them and we mutually decided against it). Once the contract was signed, they provided plenty of information about the whole process: what would happen, and about how long to expect for each phase. They also provided contacts if I wanted to reach out. As the process progressed, they kept me up to date with emails and phone calls. They also gave a detailed list of what would happen after the installation, including who was responsible for each task, e.g. the electric utility company, the township, the state, etc. The installation crew was great - they were personable, very respectful of the property, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood what I was agreeing to with regard to choices about location of equipment and conduit, etc.
